About the Department

The Department of Food Technology at Sree Narayana Guru Memorial Arts and Science College, Thuravoor, was established in 2024, marking a significant expansion into life sciences and applied technology. This program is offered under the Four-Year Integrated Undergraduate Programme (FIUGP) as per NEP 2020 guidelines, making it one of the most progressive and future-oriented academic offerings on campus.

The department focuses on blending scientific knowledge, research skills, and industry exposure to prepare students for a dynamic and rapidly growing global food industry.
